PrepNex wasn't born in a boardroom. It was born on a borrowed laptop, by a frustrated ICSE student who refused to study without the right tools โ and then built them himself.
Meet Asad Abdullah
Asad is a self-taught developer and ICSE student from India who started building because he was overwhelmed โ a massive syllabus, no tracking tools that worked, and no affordable notes. In December 2025, on a borrowed laptop, he built PrepNex out of sheer frustration with his own studies.
That wasn't enough. In April 2026 he launched PYQ Junction โ a completely free question bank he built because reliable PYQs for AMU, JMI and other exams simply didn't exist in one place. Still on a borrowed laptop. Then on 8 May 2026, he launched Learn With Asad โ a platform making programming affordable for everyone, challenging the myth that coding is only for BTech students.
He also authored The Ultimate Python Playbook โ a book written in simple words with real Indian examples, the exact book he wished had existed when he was learning. Every project exists because Asad lived the problem himself.

How PrepNex came to be
PrepNex Is Born โ Out of Frustration
Overwhelmed by the massive ICSE board syllabus with no reliable way to track his own progress, Asad built PrepNex from scratch โ on a friend's borrowed laptop. No office. No funding. Just a student who needed a tool that didn't exist.
PYQ Junction Launched
Asad couldn't find a free, trustworthy source of previous year papers for AMU, JMI, and other competitive exams. So he built one himself and launched PYQ Junction โ still on the same borrowed laptop. 4000+ PYQs. Zero login required. Completely free.
Learn With Asad Goes Live
Asad launched learnwithasad.in โ a platform to make programming languages affordable and accessible for everyone. Built to break the myth that coding is only for BTech and CS students. Learning to code should be for Class 8 students too.
The Ultimate Python Playbook Authored
Asad wrote The Ultimate Python Playbook โ a Python book written in plain simple language with real examples that Indian students can actually relate to. Not jargon. Not theory dumps. The book he always wished had existed when he started learning.
